Join us for our elegant Charles Dicken-inspired, 3-course Gourmet Christmas Dinner! Come in from the cold and back in time with "A Charming Christmas at the Simmons-Bond Inn Bed & Breakfast!" at 6 pm! Enjoy our made-from-scratch recipes the minute you walk in the door by indulging in a refreshment of warm Wassail (Victorian Era Apple Cider Non-Alcoholic) and Hor D' Oveure of Bite-sized Orange Glazed Turkey Meatballs. Take in the warmth and Christmas cheer of our historic home built in 1903 with Storyteller, Roy English performing a copy of Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol, which Dickens performed himself (30 minutes). Your hosts, Victorian Mr & Mrs. Claus will be there to greet you and enjoy the evening with you.      After the performance, all guests will enter our beautiful dining room to begin our elegant meal. For your first course, a warm and creamy Chestnut Soup, a winter staple that will have you thinking of Christmas Feasts of Yore. For our main course, experience the luxury of the times with an Orange Glazed Cornish Hen stuffed with Apple, Cranberry, and Sage Cornbread Stuffing, served with Candied Yams and sauteed Brocollini. For your third and final course, a slice of heaven, also known as Chocolate Yule Log, served tableside! While enjoying this decadent dessert, guests can expect to be visited by carolers before adjourning to the parlor for Victorian parlor games.
