Breakfast – The Most Important Meal of the Day

Breakfast - Omelette, Hashbrowns and English Muffins

We’ve all heard it before: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Fuel your mind and body. Eat a good breakfast every day. Our mothers would cook a healthy breakfast in the morning; dads would fill a bowl with cereal and milk. Either way, we knew we had to eat breakfast before starting our day.

Jump forward now to the Bed & Breakfast. All around the country (and the world, for that matter), thousands of guests wake up in their favorite Bed & Breakfast and look forward to a healthy, hearty meal each morning. At the Simmons-Bond Inn Bed & Breakfast, we spoil our guests with three courses to carry them until lunch, and maybe, until dinner.

Many hotels and motels offer a ‘free’ breakfast with your stay, but how many prepare a home-cooked meal each and every morning? How many set a beautiful table with fine china, antique silverware, cloth napkins and candlelight? Our Inn does that every day. Our guests are treated like family.

Fresh fruit plates, berry cups with granola, baked peaches with pecans and strawberry drizzle, baked apples with cinnamon and cranberries are a few of the first courses to start your breakfast. Savory egg and meat dishes highlight the second course and can include shirred eggs, “Bird’s Nest Eggs”, coddled eggs, bacon, ham, or sausage. Not a meat eater? No worries. We can substitute vegetables or vegan meat choices for you. And if there’s still a little room for more, we top off breakfast with the third ‘sweet’ course of pancakes, caramelized French toast, Belgian waffles, or cinnamon rolls – all made from scratch. Freshly brewed and locally grown Yonah coffee, a choice of fruit juices, and a great menu of teas are also on the table for our guests.

At a Bed & Breakfast the bed is the convenience. The breakfast is the main event and will be unlike any breakfast at any other hotel. The Simmons-Bond Inn Bed & Breakfast is immensely proud of our meal offerings, and Tanya, our chef will ensure you enjoy every home-made bite.
