Fall into a Great Bed & Breakfast Stay

Front of Simmons-Bond Inn during the fall season

The temperature today might say otherwise but Fall began just a few days ago. We can now look forward to cooler mornings and evenings, leaves changing into fiery colors of red, orange, and yellow, the smell of wood-burning fireplaces in the air, and family get togethers over the holidays.

Fall is also a great time for short getaways in the north Georgia mountains. The Simmons-Bond Inn Bed & Breakfast is perfectly located in the center of all the great fall activities and events. Not only can you enjoy a fabulous stay in an historic Victorian home and feast on a home-made three course breakfast, but you’re only minutes away from the beautiful fall colors at Toccoa Falls, Tallulah Gorge, and Currahee Mountain.

Are you looking for a new place for a family reunion, holiday party, or just a guy’s or gal’s weekend? Toccoa has lots to offer in the fall and the Simmons-Bond Inn Bed & Breakfast will make your stay here special. Folks love to sit on our huge front porch while enjoying great conversations and warm drinks on fall’s chilly nights. You’ll soon find hot apple cider, creamy hot chocolate, fresh-baked cookies and the smell of pumpkin spice welcoming our guests at the Inn.

Fall is also a great time for hiking the many trails nearby in Toccoa and Stephens County. We have trail guide literature and maps available for our guests, and the Toccoa Welcome Center, just two blocks away, can assist hikers with all the information they need for a memorable outing. Kayaking on Lake Hartwell and the Tugaloo River are also wonderful fall activities for the whole family.

As I always say, the Simmons-Bond Inn Bed & Breakfast is the best place in Toccoa to stay for any event or activity you may be considering in Toccoa and the north Georgia mountains area. Our guests love the history of the home, the beautiful Victorian surroundings, and the fantastic breakfasts served each morning. You can always see what our guests say about their stay on our Facebook page and on Trip Advisor. Spend some time with us this fall and experience all our beautiful town and Bed & Breakfast has to offer.
